At my alma mater, still making sure positive implementations happen. It’s not enough to say it, you have to BE the change you want to see! One of the things it’s so very important to do is to still be active at all educational spaces. Once you’ve gained your degree don’t forget to give back to those who educated you; it’s the ultimate in being thankful for the education you were granted.
Not only did I serve on the student body and help establish inclusive codes and rules still in effect at the University of Michigan today; I also volunteer regularly and do reading drives for the U of M hospital and campus. Give to those who are going through difficult times and to those accessing education at the current moment. Be a positive example in your community today! It is needed so very much!
